I really wanted to have a hat for my wedding, but it was all a bit too hard. I love wearing something just a little bit different usually, but on my wedding day, like many other brides before me, I went the old traditional veil route. I suppose if there is any time in your life to go traditional, it has to be your wedding day but... I still love the idea of wearing a hat on your big day. Especially in summer time in Australia, a hat can be practical as well as a statement piece. I think a hat would be perfect for a daytime garden or beach reception.

Hot. Or maybe the model is more stunning than the hat. Either way, she looks good. From Brides.com

I love this 1940s wedding day look. By being inspired by vintage looks, you can be fairly sure your wedding day look will never go out of style! And speaking of style..

Awesome vintage inspiration from Bianca Jagger's wedding day from here. They look like they are having fun don't they?
