Well, its no secret to those who know me, I love Christmas! Now that it is December I can really get into the spirit! I love the festivity in the air, the excuse for parties, the warm weather here in Perth, even the old school christmas carols they play in the shops gets me excited. I'm having my girls over for a Christmas dinner a little later in the month and I'm looking for inspiration for my Christmas table. Here a a few beauties that I have found. How are you decorating your place for the festive season?

I'm not usually a fan of blue Christmas decorations, but I think this tables setting is really pretty, especially the scroll and the berries. Also, the vintage silverware is lovely. From Martha Stewart.

Simple but effective. Just pluck a few leaves from an evergreen in your garden and you have a pretty accent to your napkins or place cards. I think some eucalypt leaves would also look nice. From MS again.
I love the idea or using sheet music as wrapping paper or decorations. From here.

The white pom poms sewed onto these napkins as a trim would be perfect for Christmas! From snippet and ink.
Love this fresh and festive look, from green wedding shoes.
I think a tartan table cloth is such an easy way to get a funky holiday feel! As simple as buying some fabric, some fresh white flowers and a few baubles! Beautiful! From green wedding shoes again.

Love this black plaid and gold look for a bit of a different take on the traditional tartan. From coco and kelley.

I'm in love with this white Christmas look, complete with angel wings for your guests! From here.

I'm a sucker for fairy lights. Love the way that these are entwined with the grenery above this table. Not quite sure how I could get the greenery attached to the roof at my place though, perhaps it could work at yours? From here.

These are the craziest paper chains I have seen since pre- primary! Sure, it would probably take all of December to make them, but perhaps a slighty smaller display for your place? What about some on your gate as your guests come in, some hanging from the doorway, above your dinner table and mini paper chains at each place setting? Kind of crazy but kind of cool. To make them out of sheet music and using pops of red would be oh so Christmassy. From snippet and ink.
